Tai Sai

Tai sai (大細) is another name for SicBo. It means "Big Small" in Chinese.

You play with 3 dice and the aim is to predict the numbers on the dice once they have been shaken. You play against the House. The betting limits are displayed at the Tai Sai table.

The game of Tai Sai begins with three dice inside an opaque glass casing (like a glass bell) that are then shaken by the Sic Bo jusggling machine.
You place your bets on the betting layout at the Tai Sai table.

The cover is lifted from the glass casing once the Dealer rings the bell and announces "No More Bets". Go to Macau, and all you will hear at the Sic Bo end is the ringing of Tai Sai bells as this game is so popular in the former Portuguese territory of China.

The winning combination is made up of the numbers on the 3 dice facing up.

If one dice rests on top of another, the game is replayed, but this is a very rare occurence.
